We help those who don’t like “asking for money” (but need to) embrace an impact mindset, connect with ease, and move capable funders to invest.
Welcome, I’m Kerry.
I've spent most of my career helping organizations and leaders transform their approach to fundraising and bring their income to match their impact. I'm passionate about experiential learning, geek out on simplifying your math and can get just about anyone comfortable with ‘the ask.’
I feel extremely fortunate to work in the social sector and with people who are devoted to improving our world.
I’m here to provide straightforward fundraising strategy and support based on a methodology that has been field tested for 45+ years and raised over $2B across every social cause.
I started in the for-profit world where I built and facilitated World Class Teams programs for General Motors, Chase Bank, Nationwide Insurance, Merck, and Sherwin-Williams. I’m passionate about experiential learning and believe the best way to get better at something is to do it!
Since 2005, I’ve worked in the non-profit sector, coaching and training executives and teams through successful funding efforts ranging from $100K to $100M. I’ve accompanied my clients on hundreds of major gifts calls, modeling the approach & ask, and delivering results.
I’ve worked with hundreds of organizations, across every cause, including The American Cancer Society, Sierra Club, Junior Achievement USA, many universities, social service agencies, social ventures, and global health initiatives.
In addition to working alongside clients on funding initiatives, I have been a keynote speaker, facilitator, and workshop leader for almost 25 years. I call Jackson, Wyoming home thanks to my adventurous husband, Chris.
I’m extremely lucky to have been raised by a fundraiser! My dad, Tom, was my first mentor and one of the great fundraisers and thought leaders. He was one of the first to use the term impact in the ‘nonprofit’ world and was an enthusiastic champion for the vocation of fundraising. He wrote books, gave talks (often standing on chairs, tables, podiums) and propelled the development sector forward over his 40+ year career. (You can read more about him here, here and here.)
